Roots Collective, Inc. provides customized training services on topics relevant to the social, emotional, and mental well-being of youth, such as:
- Establishing Healthy Boundaries
- Crisis Prevention/Intervention
- Common Mental Health Disorders of Youth
- Understanding ADD/ADHD
- Effective Communication with Teens
We are very proud of the Roots Conference, an annual, national-level youth development summit for educators and after school staff with crossover topics relevant to mental health and public health professionals. This conference has been created through our partnership with the Tulare County Office of Education to provide a local opportunity to the central San Joaquin Valley, which is often isolated from many of the training opportunities offered throughout other places in California.
The Roots Conference has been carefully aligned with the U.S. Department of Education and Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration objectives to provide proven strategies for increased student academic performance and success in school and life. We invite an impressive array of cutting-edge speakers, as well as musical and artistic entertainment that represent cultures from throughout our communities and the world. There are also opportunities to connect with exhibitors who share resources, including products and services to maximize the effectiveness of our programs.
